Clubhouse

The timbered clubhouse was rebuilt in 1996, the Club's Centenary Year. Visitors and members are treated to spectacular views over the historical county town of Lewes while they enjoy a drink from the bar or take advantage of the catering facilities on offer.

The clubhouse is open from 7am and closes at 8pm throughout the summer and at dusk or at 4pm in the winter months, unless there is a society or function taking place.

If there is inclement weather and there are no golfers on the course or cars in the car park the clubhouse may close earlier than these times.

The bar closes 15minutes before the clubhouse.

Catering
A relaxed and friendly atmosphere is complemented by some stunning views over the South Downs which can be enjoyed both from within the clubhouse and from the patio. An extensive Bar Menu, of top quality meals and snacks, is available at very competitive prices, during kitchen opening times. Hot drinks are available at all times. Soft drinks are available from the bar at any time and alcohol during the bar opening hours. Societies can choose from traditional golfers breakfasts and lunches or a selection of starters/main courses/deserts to construct a two or three course meal of their choice.
Dress Code
Smart casual wear is acceptable in the clubhouse, including tidy jeans and trainers. Golfers are asked to freshen up or change after golf before entering the lounge and dining room. Please avoid wearing: hats, wet or torn clothes, stockinged or bare feet, track suits and beach wear. Clean, dry soft spikes or spikeless golf shoes may be worn in the lounge. Golf shoes are not permitted in the dining room.
