The members own the Club, ensuring that investment is directed to the course and clubhouse to the benefit of the membership.

Lewes Golf Club is proud to be market leader in offering a variety of membership options giving individuals the opportunity to select the style of membership category that best suits their needs, whilst at the same time enjoying the benefits of full golf club membership. 

There is no joining fee for any category of membership. 

Our Adult Membership, for those aged 18 and over, offers 7 day membership and works out at under £18 per week.  The subscription year runs from 1st April to 31st March, but you can join at any time and pay for the remaining months in the subscription year. 

Our innovative Playing Fee Membership has a low annual subscription of £420 and a playing fee of £12 for each round of golf played.   This subscription is not pro rata, but from October each year there is a six-month Winter Playing Fee Membership costing 50% of the annual subscription.

Lewes also offers a Winter Membership. This is for golfers who want to take advantage of the winter playing conditions at Lewes (no temporary greens and rarely closed).  Winter members can play in the majority of club competitions and enjoy the benefits of full membership.  The 2010/11 application form will be available later in the year.

Lewes has been awarded CASC status (Community Amateur Sports Club).  This means that the club is open to all and does not dictate that a handicap certificate is a prerequisite of membership.  The club prides itself on being friendly and welcoming whilst at the same time providing a course which is maintained to a high standard.  As a result the membership encompasses a wide range of playing ability from County players to the complete novice.
