Being a member of Lewes Golf Club brings many benefits and pleasures allowing you to play golf and socialise in a very friendly, relaxed environment.

There is a wide range of qualifying competitions to take part in. As a member you can sign up for these on the sheet, through the Pro Shop or on-line. Medals and Stablefords take place regularly both midweek and at weekends. There are a wide range of trophy competitions, in many different formats, and eclectics run throughout the winter and summer. Over the season there are also nine knockout completions - mostly played on handicap. So, if you want to be challenged in your golf Lewes Golf Club is perfect for you.

The course can accommodate golf at 18 holes, 13 holes, 12 holes and 9 holes for short competitions and on those rare occasions when fog makes it difficult on the upper holes.

Members can volunteer to represent Lewes in a wide number of men’s and mixed matches - played both home and away. The Club enters teams in both the Scratch and Handicap County knockout events. In 2016 the Scratch Team won the Oliver Plate match play competition. Teams also take part in a number of events at other local clubs.

There are a number of reciprocal arrangements with other members clubs within a 35 mile radius which allows our members to play other excellent courses for free (bookable through the Pro Shop only).
