Once an application form is received, the Secretary will write in acknowledgement and explain that applicants can play the course whilst their application is being processed.
Under the Rules of the Club, applicants names are posted on the club notice board for 14 days. The Council of Directors, who meet on the third Monday of the month, will sanction the application.
Applicants will be invited to a meeting with the Captain and Secretary. At that meeting the Captain will run through a number of items including how the club is run, how to gain a club handicap, how to enter competitions etc. This meeting also gives applicants the opportunity to ask any questions they may have.
Following acceptance into the Club, applicants are invoiced, and upon receipt of payment become full members.
