Lewes runs an active Junior Section, details are outlined on the Juniors page. Applications are processed through the Junior Committee.
Under the Rules of the Club, applicants names are posted on the club notice board for 14 days. The Council of Directors, who meet on the third Monday of the month, will sanction the application.
The Junior Committee will write to the applicant inviting them to attend a meeting along with a parent or guardian. At that meeting, two members of the Junior Committee will through a number of items including how the club is run, how to gain a handicap, how to enter competitions etc. This meeting also gives applicants and parents/guardians the opportunity to ask any questions they may have.
Following this meeting, applicants will be permitted to play the course whilst their application is being processed.
Following acceptance into the Club, applicants are invoiced, and upon receipt of payment become associate members.
