The Ladies section comprises 45 playing members who enjoy the same rights and privileges as the men. As well as having our own ladies Committee, we are well represented on all club committees.
We welcome ladies of all golfing ability, from those with a handicap to the complete novice. We will introduce you to other ladies if you wish. If you are new to golf, playing with someone of a similar standard can be more fun.
We have regular competitions played on a Wednesday morning for which tee times are reserved and there are also ladies competitions most Sundays. Qualifying monthly medals are held from March to October on Wednesdays and all year at the weekends. The ladies play in County Divisions and friendly matches with other golf clubs. We also send representative teams to major competitions such as the Morrice Foursomes, Kathleen Rider Foursomes and Jerdein Memorial Salver.
Mixed competitions and social events are held throughout the year and are well supported. We also occasionally play fun matches with the senior and junior sections of the Club.
The Ladies Section rightly enjoys the reputation of being very friendly and welcoming. Come along and meet us/see for yourself.
