Lessons & Tuition
Tony Hilton PGA Professional
PGA Golf Professional Tony Hilton has 20 years experience teaching golfers of all ages and abilities.
Tony's teaching philosophy is to help you to gain a thorough understanding of how your swing works, the causes of your faults and how to fix them.
The facilities at Lewes include a 400 yard driving range, practice green and chipping area or we can utilise the golf course to work on any aspect of the game that you wish to improve.
Gift Vouchers can be purchased to be redeemed against any products or services, including lessons and hire equipment
Try Golf
Our Try Golf Scheme is perfect for anyone who has never played the game and would like to give it a go, or for anyone who has played before but has had a break from the game and wants to get started again. All equipment is provided for the lessons.
The cost of the scheme is £150 and includes
3 hours tuition with a PGA Professional
Use of the clubhouse and practice facilities
24 buckets of balls for practice
36 Holes of golf

Womens Pathway to Golf
Welcome to the Women's Pathway to Golf at Lewes Golf Club. We are excited to offer this program to help you learn the game of golf and develop your skills.
Our program is designed for women of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced golfer, we have something for you.
The program is divided into three stages:
Stage 1:
Introduction to Golf
In Stage 1, you will learn the basics of the game, including how to grip the club, stance, and swing. You will also learn about the different types of shots and how to play them.
Four group lessons - total cost £20 (these lessons can be repeated as often as the learning golfer wishes)
Loan of golf equipment if required
Access to Club facilities
Stage 2:
Basic Skills
In Stage 2, you will build on the skills you learned in Stage 1 and develop your swing. You will also learn about course management and how to play different types of courses.
Four ½ hour individual lessons
Four 1 hours group lessons (additional group lessons can be purchased)
Bar card / social membership
10 tokens for driving range
Working towards understanding rules and golf course etiquette
Loan of golf equipment if required
36 holes on the course over the period
Cost £150
3 months to complete this phase.
Stage 3:
Advanced Skills
In Stage 3, you will focus on improving your advanced skills, such as your putting and chipping. You will also learn about tournament play and how to compete in tournaments.
Six ½ hour individual lessons
Increased understanding of rules and golf course etiquette
Access to golf course after 14.00 hrs (phone to book via pro shop on the day)
Use of practice facilities
Members price for driving range
Bar Card / social membership
Cost £325 if phase 1 and 2 completed, £400 if not.
6 months to complete this phase.

We have the facility to custom fit for all the brands we carry in store. We recommend that every driver, fairway wood or set of irons we sell is custom fit, as it is vital to get the right specification when investing in a new golf club.
We use a GC2 Launch monitor to give accurate ball flight data allowing us to swiftly identify the best club specification for you and insure that you are custom fitted for the optimum club for your individual golf swing.
