Hole Fifteen

Hole Fifteen - Par 4

A dog leg to the right, this hole requires a tee shot that favours the left half of the fairway to open up the green for the second shot. The second shot plays shorter than the yardage and a ball pitched short will feed down to the large putting surface that slopes heavily from right to left.

Offham Chalk Pit
From the 15th green look across to Offham chalk pit. In the 19th century there was a thriving chalk and lime industry here and in order to move the loaded wagons, down to a wharf on Pellbrook Cut near the river Ouse, the oldest railway in the South-East was constructed. It was a funicular tramline and was opened in 1809.
