Once an application form is received, the Secretary will email or write to acknowledge receipt, explaining that applicants can play the course whilst their membership is being processed. Credit Members, Junior, Student and Social members are expected to pay at the time of application.
New playing members will be invited to an informal meeting with the Captain (or the Junior Organiser for the under 18s). At that meeting the Captain will run through a number of items including how the club is run, how to gain a club handicap, how to enter competitions etc. This meeting also gives applicants the opportunity to ask any questions they may have.
Following this meeting applicants for Full, Off Peak and Intermediate members will be invoiced, and upon receipt of payment become active members of the club.
