The 6th

Pro Tips
The 6th hole at Lewes Golf Club is a picturesque par 3, framed by gorse on all sides. Typically, it demands about half a club more than the 4th hole, and is defended by bunkers both left and right. Aiming for the right half of the green is the preferred line, with the back of the green providing the safest landing area.

Firle Beacon
Whilst on the 6th tee look behind you to see in the distance the very prominent Firle Beacon. Standing at 217 metres it is classed as a Marilyn which is a hill that has a drop of more than 150 metres on all sides. A Marilyn is officially a smaller version of a Munroe! At the top of the Beacon is a Long Barrow, known as the Giants Grave, most likely it is a Neolithic collective burial tomb.
