Societies
If you are looking to organise a Golf Day then Lewes Golf Club welcomes societies and groups from Sunday to Friday throughout the year.
No matter the size of your group we can guarantee you a great day out.
Many golf societies have made Lewes a regular fixture on their calendar and they achieve excellent attendance on their days here. We are particularly popular in the winter months because our course drains so well and is rarely closed.
We have a “mix and match” system so you can create a perfect package to suit your society. However, we recommend that you book early to ensure the date and tee times you prefer.
Photography cannot do justice to our downland course or the superb scenery - so why not come and experience it yourself.

Entrants must be over the age of 55 on the day of the event.
Maximum Handicap Index 28 (Men) 36 (Women).
Entry Fee: £160 per team
To include Coffee & Bacon Rolls, 1 Course Meal & Prizes.

Understanding Course Difficulty: Course Rating & Slope Rating
These tables provide essential information for golfers of all abilities.

Course Rating reflects the difficulty of the course for a scratch golfer (handicap of 0).

Slope Rating indicates how difficult the course is for a bogey golfer (handicap of around 18-24) compared to a scratch golfer.
Use these tables to:

Choose the right tee box: Different tees offer varying distances, making the course more or less challenging.

Estimate your course handicap: This helps adjust your score based on the course's difficulty relative to your handicap.
