GOLF

  • Play is from yellow tees (men), red tees (ladies)
  • Be aware of the local rules on the scorecard, particularly the rule regarding dropping off the fringes when playing the ‘wrong hole'. Relief must be taken if your ball lies on the wrong putting green surround (fringe) when playing another hole
  • Please ensure that all golfers are aware of the Rules of Golf Etiquette, in particular
         ♦ Play without delay
♦ Signal others through if searching for a ball or if more than one clear hole is lost on the game ahead
  • Priority on the Course
♦ Two ball, three ball and four ball matches all have equal priority
♦ A single player has no standing and should give way to a match of any kind
  • Care of the Course
♦ Replace divots & repair pitch marks
♦ Avoid practice swings on the tees
         ♦ Rake bunkers

Most importantly, enjoy your day at Lewes!
