The 11th
Pro Tips
The further you hit the drive on this hole the wider the fairway gets, the second shot should favour the left side as the ball will gather onto the green from here. It is better to land short of this green as it is only 15 paces from front to back and it is very easy to run through.
Mount Harry
Looking from the back of the 11th tee you can see in the distance Mount Harry. On the slopes of which Henry III, assisted by the fiery Prince Edward, fought a contingent of the Barons during the Battle of Lewes in 1264.The Barons were led by Simon de Montfort, 6th Earl of Leicester and ultimately triumphed.
